Entering a record means storing the information you have typed into that record in the computer's short-term memory (RAM). Entering a record does not mean that the information has been permanently saved. To save your records to a disk, you must perform a "Save".
To enter a record:
• Type the data into each field of the record.
• Choose "New Record" (Cmd-N) to enter the current record and move to a new (blank) record.
Other ways to enter a record:
• Choose "First" (Cmd-1),"Previous" (Cmd-2), "Next" (Cmd-3), or "Last" (Cmd-4): This enters the current record and moves to the first, previous, next, or last record, respectively.
• Find: This enters the current record and brings up the Find dialog.
• Press "Enter": This enters the current record and leaves it in view on your screen.
